Satan is a British hard rock band formed in 1979 in London. Considered one of the most influential bands of the NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) movement, they have released several successful albums, including the acclaimed "Court in the Act" (1983) and "Into the Future / Suspended Sentence" (1986). The original lineup included Bruce Dickinson (vocals), Russ Tippins (guitar), Steve Ramsey (bass) and Graham Walker (drums). After a hiatus in the 1990s, the band reunited in 2001 with a new lineup. Satan continues to perform live and record music, keeping alive the legacy of British heavy metal. Some of their most representative tracks include: "Into the Future", "Suspended Sentence", "Black Magic Woman" (cover of Santana).
