È impazzito il navigatore
e ci sentiamo persi
come pensieri volanti
come mai
non ci credi più
alle canzoni d'amore, alle scritte sui muri
I love you.
È finita un'altra estate
e ci sentiamo persi
come i portieri volanti
che non sanno mai cosa fare
se rimanere dietro oppure
provare ad uscire
come le viole che ho raccolto
per te che sei il mio autunno
un temporale fisso
che spegne candeline e sigarette
tranne quel faro dopo mezzanotte
come mai
non ci credi più
alle canzoni d'amore, alle scritte sui muri
I love you.
come mai
non ci credi più
alle canzoni d'amore, alle scritte sui muri
I love you.
Cargo (real name Valerio Giovannini) is a Roman singer-songwriter and producer active since 2021. His music blends Italian songwriting influences, electronic elements, and architectural inspirations, creating a unique and original sound. In 2021 he won the 1MNEXT music competition with the song "Viole", which became his official debut single. Before embarking on a solo career, Cargo played with the band Daphne and placed first in the Primo Maggio concert in Rome. "Viole" tells the melancholy of getting lost in a dreamlike narrative. The track features a suspended and liquid sound reminiscent of 1970s pop, with descriptive lyrics and dreamy imagery. Production is handled by Cargo alongside David Giacomini.
