Tyketto is an American hard rock/heavy metal band formed in 1987 in Belmar, New Jersey. Their sound is characterized by heavy riffs, catchy melodies and a clear influence from the glam metal of the 1980s. After releasing two successful albums in the United States, they achieved international fame with their third album, *Street Surfer*, which sold over 500,000 copies in Europe. Among their most famous songs are "Forever Young", "I'm So Lonely" and "You Don't Know Me". The band disbanded in 1992 but made a triumphant return in the 2000s with a new lineup. Tyketto is considered one of the most important bands of the 1980s hair metal movement and continues to be appreciated by fans worldwide.
