Marit Elisabeth Larsen (born 1980) is a Norwegian singer-songwriter and musician known for her pop style with folk and indie influences. She rose to international fame as a member of the duo M2M alongside childhood friend Marion Raven, with whom she released two successful albums in the 1990s. After the group's disbandment, Larsen embarked on a solo career, releasing several albums in Norway and gaining a devoted fan base. Among her most notable songs are "The World Is Ours", "Don't Want to Know" and "When You Walk Away". In 2018 she released the album "From the Trees", which marked a new chapter in her musical career.
