Richard Samet Friedman, meglio conosciuto come Kinky Friedman, è stato un cantautore, scrittore, giornalista e politico statunitense. Nato a New York nel 1944, Friedman ha trascorso la sua infanzia in Texas, dove ha sviluppato una passione per la musica country e il western.
