Where people die and pain is real
No one gives a fuck about how you feel
Everything has a price and a consequence
No one has the time or the tolerance
To listen to you why you are crying boo hoo
I don't know what to do my rent is overdue
pay it PAY IT!
And if you dont have the cash then your out on your ass
Break
Cause everyone has trouble achieving
Everyone has time disbelieving
It may not be what you heard
Chorus
Welcome to the real world!
Now I must admit im knew to my self
But I can't understand how everyone else
Has their own way to feel and their own way to deal
With the same shit I do.
But it just keeps coming over and over again
Yeah thats right to the day the world ends
Im sure i'll wake up one day thinking thats funny
Having no life and no friends and no money
Bridge
But i know your on your way
And i know you will be ok
So there's no need to be afraid.
Sick Puppies is an Australian alternative rock and emo band, formed in Sydney in 1997. The trio, consisting of Shimon Moore (vocals, guitar), Emma Anzai (bass) and Mark Goodwin (drums), gained international fame with the single "All the Same", taken from their 2009 album "Dressed Up as Human". The song became a global hit, charting in several countries and helping to introduce the band's musical style to a wider audience. Their music is characterized by energetic riffs, catchy melodies and introspective lyrics that explore themes of loneliness, alienation and the search for identity. After the success of "Dressed Up as Human", Sick Puppies continued to release successful albums, including "Tri-State" (2013) and "Fury" (2016). In 2017, Mark Goodwin left the band for personal reasons. Despite the challenges, Sick Puppies have remained active, releasing new music and continuing to tour internationally.
