What it takes

[Verse 1]
I show you all myself with no filters no tricks
I ain't no trying hiding all my kinks
And I know it's not easy to deal with my show
Go through my highs and my lows

And every time we go through rainy days
Anyway there's nobody else but you
We are chasing the love in such a different way
Over time, we're going to meet halfway
[Chorus]
What it takes to get your love oh my, so long so long
What it takes to get your love oh my, don't know if
it's gonna work again, so long so long Come on baby
take a little break now, don't know

[Verse 2]
Insisting in driving me out of my flow
Can't set things right and I lose it all
I give you my love, but can't give you all my time
Just grip your body over mine

Why making a fuss about nothing?
Have you tried to reason the problem out?
Whenever you wanna talk about it baby
I'm okay, just give me a little space for myself

[Chorus]
What it takes to get your love oh my, so long so long
What it takes to get your love oh my, don't know
if it's gonna work again, so long so long Come on
baby take a little break now, don't know

[Bridge]
Hold on
What it takes to get your love
You know, what is wrong with me?
Open your eyes

[Instrumental solo]

[Chorus]
What it takes to get your love oh my, so long so long
What it takes to get your love oh my, don't know if
it's gonna work again, so long so long Come on
baby take a little break now, don't know

What it takes to get your love oh my, so long so long
What it takes to get your love oh my, don't know if
it's gonna work again, so long so long Come on
baby take a little break now, don't know Don't know,
so long, so long

Biografia

Tamashi Pigiama is an Italian alternative R and B group led by the Italo-Ecuadorian singer Carolina Pasinetti. Their sound blends the improvisational essence of jazz with elements of hip hop, soul and incursions into electronic and afrobeat music. The result is a fresh and original mix, characterized by ironic and disillusioned lyrics, inspired by artists like Anderson .Paak, Hiatus Kaiyote, Tom Misch and Thundercat. The group is part of the Atelier 71 record label founded by Idriss Hannour (rapper and art director) and Dimitri Piccolillo (rapper, producer and entrepreneur), with the aim of filling a gap in contemporary culture and promoting Black Music in Italy. Founded in Milan, Atelier 71 boasts artists like Arya, Desperado Rain, Ezechiele, Jaybee Vibes, Paziest and Tamashi Pigiama. The label operates in a 360° manner within the Italian cultural landscape, from music to merchandising to events, also organizing the beatmaking event Milano Loop Sessions, which demonstrates its love for Black Music in all its facets.
