Thompson Twins was a British rock band active from the 1980s to the 1990s, known for their pop-rock sound with synthpop and new wave influences. Formed in London in 1977 by Tom Bailey (vocals, keyboards), Alannah Currie (drums, percussion) and Joe Leeway (bass), they achieved international fame in the 1980s with hits like "Hold Me Now", "Doctor!
