Methods of Mayhem is an American musical group formed in Los Angeles in the late 1990s. The core of the project is musician and producer Danny Lohner, known for his collaborations with Marilyn Manson. The sound of Methods of Mayhem falls into the nu metal genre, characterized by aggressive and heavy rhythms, influenced also by rap and industrial rock. Among the most notable members of the group are Marty O'Brian (former guitarist of Guns N' Roses) and Randy Jackson (bassist and producer). Their self-titled debut album "Methods of Mayhem" (1998) was a moderate success, thanks to the single "Get Naked". In 2000, the second album "New Skin" was released, which consolidated the group's position in the underground music scene.
