Vater kommt zu seinem Sohn,
legt zrtlich den Arm um ihn,
sagt: "Es ist dein 10 Geburtstag
und ich bin sehr stolz auf dich.
Komm mit mir zum Kaninchenstall,
wir geben fr dich ein Fest."
Der Junge darf die Tiere alle streicheln,
fhlt ihr flauschig-weiches Fell.
Pltzlich greift auch Vater zu,
hlt eines an den Ohren fest.
Ein kurzer, harter Schlag
bricht dem Tier schnell das Genick.
"Wenn du einmal gro bist, dann kannst du das auch!",
sagt Vater liebevoll zu seinem Sohn.
Und mit groen Augen schaut der Junge zu -
schaut gespannt zu.
Vater hat es an den Beinen aufgehngt
und schlitzt dem Tier die Kehle durch.
Nachdem er ihm das Fell abzieht,
sehen sie wie das Blut abtropft.
Dann schneidet er ihm noch die Ohren ab
und nimmt den Magen aus.
"Wenn du einmal gro bist, dann kannst du das auch.
Ich zeig dir alles, was man zum Leben braucht."
Und der Junge macht seine Augen zu -
macht sie fest zu.
"Hol einen Lappen und noch einen Eimer,
es ist wieder mal eine Menge Blut.
Hr auf zu trumen, los beeil dich!",
ruft ihm Vaters Stimme zu.
Und der Junge rennt blitzschnell los.
Und wenn er mal gro ist, dann kann er das auch,
denn er lernt alles, was man zum Leben braucht.
Und irgendwann kann der Junge sowas auch -
dann kann er sowas auch.
