Regine Velasquez, also known as "Asia's Songbird", is a Filipino singer and actress of international fame. Born in Manila on April 22, 1968, she began her musical career at the age of 15 by participating in a television talent show. Her powerful and versatile voice quickly won over the Filipino audience, making her one of the most beloved artists in the country.
