But no distraction could decimate the totality of belief,
and his number came up just when the weight of his despair had him pinned to a rock;
when the feathers of his wings had been shed
and he stood naked before a disapassionate ocean of grey faces.
His precious twin. His rose.
Isolde dancing alone, then multiplying, inviting...so many many levels.

The Tear Garden is a psychedelic/gothic/electronic band formed in 1985 by Edward Ka-Spel of The Legendary Pink Dots and cEvin Key of Skinny Puppy. The collaboration arose after Key, as sound engineer, worked with Ka-Spel during a tour in Canada. Their self-titled album, produced by Dave Ogilvie, was released the same year. The group is known for its dark and atmospheric sound, influenced by gothic rock and experimental electronic music. Among their most representative tracks are "The Tear Garden", "The Last Day of Summer" and "A Thousand Tears".
