Driving down the highway
Staring out the window
Speeding through a dream
It's all a state of mind
Your silence says it all
There's a smile on your face
We can drive a million miles
Till we reach the perfect place
In a world without walls
World without walls
Dance to the rhythm of our beating hearts
In a world...
Floating on a sea of glass
Moving through the night
Relax and let the evening go
Love will never die
Girl I'll never leave you
Boy you know that it is true
So forget the tears we cried
We are starting something new
In a world without walls
World without walls
Dance to the rhythm of our beating hearts
In a world...
Girl get closer
World, you gotta get closer, closer
Martini Ranch is a British alternative rock band active between the 1980s and 1990s. Formed by Andrew Todd (vocals, guitar) and Bill Paxton (bass), the group achieved international success with the single *Holy Cow*, released in 1987. The song, characterized by its catchy rhythm and ironic lyrics, became an anthem for Generation X and helped launch the band onto the world music scene. Martini Ranch released other successful albums such as *The World Is Yours* (1988) and *The Last Dance* (1990), but they were unable to replicate the success of *Holy Cow*. Despite their short career, Martini Ranch is remembered for contributing to the birth of British alternative rock in the 1980s.
