T'Pau is a British pop music group formed in 1986 in Shropshire, England. The original lineup consisted of singer Carol Decker and guitarist Ron Rogers, both songwriters for the band. Initially called Talking America, they changed their name to T'Pau, inspired by a Star Trek character.
