Nick Gilder is a Canadian musician of English origin, born on December 21, 1951, in London. He rose to prominence as the frontman for the glam rock band Sweeney Todd in the 1970s. Subsequently, he embarked on a successful solo career as both a singer and songwriter. Among his most notable collaborations is the new wave band Scandal, with whom he contributed to writing some of their biggest hits.
