Dan Seals (Danny Wayland Seals, February 8, 1948 – March 25, 2009) was an American singer-songwriter and musician. Younger brother of Jim Seals, member of the folk-rock duo Seals and Crofts, Dan rose to fame as part of the soft rock duo England Dan and John Ford Coley. The duo achieved nine chart successes in pop and adult contemporary charts between 1976 and 1980, including the Billboard Hot 100 hit "I'd Really Love to See You Tonight", which reached number two. After the duo disbanded, Seals embarked on a successful solo career, releasing albums such as "Dan Seals" (1983) and "The Best of Dan Seals" (1986). Among his most famous songs are also "You're the One", "Everything I Do (I Do It for You)" and "Love Is a Fire".
