Mercvrio, the stage name of Davide Attili (born in Rome on September 19, 1991), is an Italian singer-songwriter known for his indie pop style characterized by direct, ironic and profound lyrics. Born on a palindromic date at 7:09 PM, Mercvrio surrounds himself with an aura of mystery that permeates his music. After playing in hard rock, metal and free jazz pop indogiapponese bands in Roman clubs, in 2014 he launched his solo project. Graduated in Cinema, Theatre and Digital Arts, he also cultivates his passion for audiovisual products collaborating with the artistic collective Miniera. In 2018 his first official single, “Zanzare in Autunno”, was released, followed by “Faraone” (2019) and “AmoR”. In 2021 he signed a record deal with The Bluestone Records and released “La pioggia su Roma”, a release dedicated to the capital that features NH, Cecile and Sarai. In 2023 he presents “Ormoni”, a song dedicated to the duality of childhood memories. Between irony, sentimentality and emotion, Mercvrio is considered one of the most interesting exponents of Italian indie pop.
