Battista, pseudonimo di Giovanni Battista Sanna, è un cantautore italiano nato a Tempio Pausania (SS) il 25 settembre 1997. La musica rappresenta la sua più grande passione fin dall'infanzia. Dopo aver raggiunto la maggiore età, si trasferisce a Bologna per studiare presso la prestigiosa Music Academy 2000 sotto la guida della Vocal Coach Stefania Martin e del batterista e produttore Paolo Valli, figlio del celebre compositore Celso Valli. Nel 2019 Battista raggiunge tra i primi 50 candidati nazionali al Festival di Castrocaro, pubblica il suo singolo d'esordio "Solo Un Filtro" e vince il Talent Show "Like a Star" ed il CSA (Centro Sviluppo Artisti). Grazie alla vittoria del CSA, Battista ha avuto l'opportunità di esibirsi il 25 febbraio 2020 al The Bedford Theatre di Londra, storica venue che ha ospitato artisti come Ed Sheeran, U2 e Coldplay. Nel marzo 2021 pubblica "Lasciamoci Andare", sua seconda release, prodotta da Ric de Large e Dessa One, in collaborazione con il chitarrista Pietro Spisni. Il brano è accompagnato da un videoclip ufficiale diretto da Francesca Gallina. Battista sta costruendo una solida carriera nel panorama musicale italiano.
