
Battista, whose real name is Giovanni Battista Sanna, is an Italian singer-songwriter born in Tempio Pausania (SS) on September 25, 1997. Music has been his greatest passion since childhood. After reaching adulthood, he moved to Bologna to study at the prestigious Music Academy 2000 under the guidance of Vocal Coach Stefania Martin and drummer and producer Paolo Valli, son of the famous composer Celso Valli. In 2019, Battista reached among the top 50 national candidates for the Castrocaro Festival, released his debut single "Solo Un Filtro" and won the "Like a Star" Talent Show and the CSA (Centro Sviluppo Artisti). Thanks to his CSA victory, Battista had the opportunity to perform on February 25, 2020 at The Bedford Theatre in London, a historic venue that has hosted artists like Ed Sheeran, U2 and Coldplay. In March 2021, he released "Lasciamoci Andare", his second release, produced by Ric de Large and Dessa One, in collaboration with guitarist Pietro Spisni. The song is accompanied by an official music video directed by Francesca Gallina. Battista is steadily building a solid career in the Italian music scene.
