Giuseppe Carletti, known as Beppe, is an Italian keyboardist born in Milan in 1940. He is one of the founding members of the folk-rock band Nomadi, alongside singer Augusto Daolio. His career with the Nomadi began in the 1960s and lasted for over forty years, marking a significant chapter in the history of Italian music. Carletti helped define the sound of the Nomadi with his memorable melodies and his skill in playing instruments such as piano, organ, and harpsichord. Among the most representative songs of the group are "The Sky in a Room", "A World of Sunshine", "My Home Is Where You Are" and "I Am a Free Man". Carletti has collaborated with other Italian artists, including Lucio Dalla and Fabrizio De André, demonstrating his musical versatility. After the dissolution of the Nomadi in 2004, Carletti continued to dedicate himself to music as a solo artist and participating in various musical projects.
