Davide Rinaldo, known as Brai, is an Italian composer and singer born in Reggio Emilia in 1991. His passion for rock music began at a young age thanks to his older brother, who was a guitarist. Over the years, he learned to play guitar, drums, and piano. At 18, he joined a rock-progressive band as a drummer, performing in clubs in Reggio Emilia and its province. Two years later, driven by the need to express himself personally, he created the solo music project Brai. In 2018, he built his own home studio and released his first single, “CazzoGridi”, signing with the Reggio-based label “Artisti Online”. Two more singles followed, “Rettiliano” and “Psyco-Pop”, which gained success on Spotify. In December 2020, he released his debut album, self-produced and distributed, containing four new tracks. After a year, he left the label for internal reasons. He composed the theme songs for two radio/television programs and in 2021 won Artistiemergentimusiccontest, receiving the production and release of the song “Soliti Pensieri”. In 2022, he released his second album, “Prega x Me”, collaborating with artists from the independent music scene. Brai stands out for his alternative rock sound characterized by electronic sonorities and introspective lyrics.
