CnttY, whose real name is Osamwonyi Cynthia, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter born in Lagos and raised in Benin City, Edo State. Daughter of a mother from Benin City and a father from Delta State, she approaches music from a young age: at 5 she sings and dances, at 12 she joins the choir of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, refining an instinctive relationship with singing. In 2017, during a delicate personal moment, she writes the lyrics of "Kiss Kiss", which remains in a drawer until 2024, when by chance it ends up in the hands of Italian producer Massimo Zoara, founder of B-nario. Zoara immediately sees its potential and takes care of its realization, transforming it into a deliberately minimal track, built on repetition and subtraction. "Kiss Kiss" marks CnttY's debut album and the beginning of an artistic journey that unites Nigerian roots and Italian production, aimed at an international audience.
