
Damiano Ruggiero is a singer and musician from Puglia, Italy. He began his musical journey at the age of four, participating in a singing competition in his hometown of Borgo Tressanti (FG). Over the years, he has honed his passion for music, writing original songs and performing live concerts throughout Puglia, sharing the stage with artists like Bianca Atzei and Anna Tatangelo during their 2017 tours. He has participated in various musical castings, including Bravo Bravissimo, Premio Mia Martini, Cantagiro, and Musicultura. Ruggiero has held roles as frontman in several pop/rock bands, backing vocalist for the Mina Tribute Band, and lead singer for the Sting Tribute Band. From 2013 to 2017, he starred in the musical "Aladin" by Stefano D'Orazio, playing the role of Aladdin under the direction of Officina delle Idee at Teatro del Fuoco, Teatro Umberto Giordano (Foggia), and Casa Matteo Salvatore (Apricena). In 2017, he participated in the Sanremo Giovani Nuove Proposte selections and was a semifinalist at Area Sanremo in 2018. During these years, he has presented songs from his self-produced album of original tracks. In 2018, he starred in the RDS Marathon Music organized by RDS and Emporio Armani in Milan, and in 2019, he performed in the original musical "Il Miracolo Delle Nuove Ali" with the Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra of Bari. Currently, he is the vocalist for the musical projects Mod Sound Band, Beat Ska, #DLounge Project, and Seven Days String Tribute 4et. On January 1st, 2022, he released his album "INVINCIBILE", a tribute to his recently deceased father who has always supported his musical career.
