Calamite è un progetto musicale nato dall'idea del dj/producer calabrese Joe Bavasso, in collaborazione con i rapper Zeno e Pika Dmf. Il brano, dalle sonorità elettroniche, linee melodiche semplici ma efficaci e volutamente "lo-fi", rappresenta una deviazione rispetto alle produzioni di Bavasso, noto per brani come "Listen" e "I want you", più ritmici e dal timbro dance realizzati in collaborazione con il dj Mario Cosenza. Il testo, scritto da Zeno e Pika Dmf, esplora temi di emozioni romantiche, passione e sentimenti forti, contrastati dall'impossibilità o dalla mancanza di volontà di essere una coppia. Zeno, cantautore classe 1993 di origini calabresi, si distingue per la sua voglia di sperimentare unendo generi musicali differenti. Ha all'attivo un album, diversi mixtape e progetti in cantiere. Pika Dmf, co-autore del testo, è noto per il suo progetto discografico "Insonnia" con Soulgem Records e per le sue partecipazioni a eventi come il Calabria Fest 2019 e il Capodanno 2020 con Nesli e Briga.
