Lara Serrano è una cantautrice italiana nata a Genova il 05 Ottobre 1998. Manifesta la passione per la musica fin da bambina, passando ore a guardare in TV lo Zecchino d’Oro e cantando le canzoni presentate nella kermesse canora. Pochi anni dopo, dà il via alla sua formazione artistica studiando pianoforte e, durante le scuole medie, prende parte ad una band scolastica che le consente di mettere in pratica le competenze acquisite esibendosi su svariati palchi e partecipando – e vincendo - diversi concorsi. A soli 12 anni, scrive il suo primo brano inedito, “Basta un solo sguardo”, dedicato alla nipotina e, tre anni più in là, dopo la scomparsa della nonna materna, abbandona lo studio del pianoforte per dedicarsi a quello della chitarra elettrica. Nel 2017, si diploma al Liceo Linguistico e prosegue il suo percorso formativo con gli studi accademici in Giurisprudenza, senza mai abbandonare la musica: nel 2020, infatti, rilascia sulle piattaforme digitali il suo primo singolo ufficiale, “Vinti”, seguito, qualche mese più in là, da “Guai” e, l’anno successivo, da “Roma Miami”, prodotto da Beppe Stanco, con videoclip ufficiale firmato da Gianluca Garretto e ispirato alla figura della celebre produttrice cinematografica Rita Rusic, che la stessa Lara ha l’occasione di conoscere personalmente. Nel Dicembre 2021, esce il remix di “Roma Miami”, interpretato in collaborazione con Fra Melito, giovane e brillante artista emergente della scena capitolina e, nel 2022, è il turno di “Follia”, un pezzo intenso e viscerale volto a sollevare da se stessi e dal mondo le maschere del giudizio, quello che Arthur Schopenhauer ha definito il “Velo di Maya”, l’illusione che ci impedisce di scorgere e percepire la Verità, per connetterci alla nostra più autentica essenza, a cui fa seguire, nell’estate dello stesso anno, “C’est la vie”, release scritta a quattro mani e interpretata con il cantautore meneghino Marco Conte. Allegra e solare, ma al contempo intimista e riflessiva, Lara Serrano è una voce fuori dal coro, una penna in grado di emanare la luce per riemergere dall’ombra dei conflitti interiori, delle etichette e dell’individualismo di una società che corre veloce, troppo veloce per ascoltare i bisogni del cuore.
