Mattia Toni è un cantautore italiano nato a Castelnovo ne' Monti, in provincia di Reggio Emilia. Laureato in Scienze della Comunicazione, si avvicina al mondo musicale all'età di 19 anni frequentando l'Istituto Musicale Merulo del suo paese. Inizia ad affinare le sue tecniche vocali e strumentali suonando ed esibendosi con diverse rock band. Nel 2015 compone e interpreta da solista "We're in love tonight", brano che diventa sigla del Gay Village di Roma. Nel 2016 apre il suo canale YouTube, iniziando a pubblicare le sue canzoni con video autoprodotti. Nel 2018 ottiene un buon riscontro sia a livello nazionale che internazionale con i singoli "Before the summer ends" e "Like This". Dopo aver girato l'Europa con ospitate live nei maggiori club, Mattia continua a lavorare in studio per il suo primo album. Nel 2019 pubblica "This is love", un disco che include brani come "Dance", "My Phone" e "This is love", dove canta il desiderio di diventare padre. Nel 2020 torna in radio con "La Notte" e "Fino all'alba". Tra i suoi ultimi lavori figurano "Dove Quando", "Un'estate andata un po' così", "Wait for me" e "QUALCOSA QUASI INSPIEGABILE", uscito il 29 ottobre 2021.
