Riccardo Del Turco is an Italian singer-songwriter, musician, record producer, actor and music publisher. Born in Rome in 1942, he emerged in the 1960s as an interpreter of pop songs and songwriting. In 1968 he won the Sanremo Music Festival with the song "Luglio", a song that brought him great success and led him to participate in the International Music Festival, where he triumphed again with the same song. Throughout his career, he has participated in three editions of the Sanremo Music Festival, achieving considerable success also with the song "Uno tranquillo", winner of the Festival mundial del lago Maracaibo in Venezuela in 1970. Besides music, Del Turco has also worked in theatre and film, acting in some films and theatrical plays. He has also founded his own record label, producing emerging artists and contributing to launching new voices in the Italian music scene.
