Simone Tomassini è un cantautore e musicista italiano nato a Como. Attivo sulla scena musicale dal 2000, ha firmato il suo primo contratto discografico con Bollicine, l'etichetta di Vasco Rossi, grazie all'incontro con Enrico Rovelli, che diventa il suo manager. Il debutto al Festival di Sanremo 2004 con "È stato tanto tempo fa" segna l'ingresso nel grande pubblico e l'inizio di una fase intensa, fatta di tour, Festivalbar e aperture ai concerti di Vasco Rossi, con cui collabora anche alla scrittura di "Giorni", titolo del suo primo album. Tomassini ha pubblicato diversi dischi negli anni successivi, consolidando una cifra stilistica riconoscibile tra rock-pop melodico e forma-canzone, alternando attività discografica e live. Tra i suoi album più importanti ricordiamo "Buon viaggio", "Sesso gioia rock'n roll", "Va tutto bene" e l'omonimo "Simone Tomassini". Parallelamente alla sua carriera musicale, ha partecipato a progetti benefici con la Nazionale italiana cantanti, collaborato come autore per altri artisti – tra cui Paolo Meneguzzi – e pubblicato nel 2011 il suo primo libro, "Confessioni... di un pazzo". Nel 2024, in occasione del ventennale dalla sua prima partecipazione a Sanremo, pubblica una cover de "L'Italiano" di Toto Cutugno in uno speciale vinile 45 giri a edizione limitata, e riceve il "Premio Roma Videoclip" alla Casa del Cinema di Roma. Tomassini continua ad essere attivo con nuovi singoli, tour, esperienze internazionali e progetti che uniscono musica, impegno e racconto autobiografico. Con il progetto "I dettagli", che intreccia musica e scrittura in un racconto esteso tra album e libro, Tomassini torna a mettere al centro la canzone come spazio di osservazione, racconto e relazione con chi ascolta.
