The Oppressed sono una band di Oi! walcese antifascista formatasi a Cardiff nel 1981. La maggior parte dei musicisti nei vari allestimenti della band erano skinhead. Durante la carriera del gruppo, i membri (soprattutto il vocalist Roddy Moreno) hanno espresso apertamente l'opposizione al razzismo e al fascismo - nelle loro canzoni, negli interviste, nei commenti sul palco e in altre azioni. Nel 1989, Moreno ha visitato New York City e ha incontrato molti membri di Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice (SHARP). Al suo ritorno nel Regno Unito, ha iniziato a promuovere gli ideali SHARP agli skinhead britannici. La band ha anche avuto legami con altri gruppi antirazzisti, come Anti-Fascist Action.
