The Presets sono un duo australiano di Sydney formato da Julian Hamilton e Kim Moyes. I due si sono incontrati nel 1995 al Sydney Conservatorium of Music, dove entrambi studiavano musica. Nel settembre 2005 hanno pubblicato il loro album di debutto, "Beams", che ha ricevuto una risposta critica positiva. Il loro secondo album, "Apocaylpso", è stato rilasciato il 12 aprile 2008.
