I WakeUpCall sono una rock band di Roma, con diverse collaborazioni internazionali, tra le quali il produttore americano Beau Hill (più di 50 milioni di dischi venduti nel mondo con Alice Cooper, Eric Clapton e tanti altri) e più di 400 concerti in Europa e Asia. Il loro album "If Beethoven Was a Punk" (in lingua inglese) è una vera e propria opera rock che mischia la musica classica dei grandi compositori come Beethoven, Wagner, Mozart alla musica rock della band. Dall'album è nato un fumetto, dal fumetto un'app digitale e infine uno spettacolo teatrale (con vari sold out a Roma e in Italia). Il progetto vince il bando SIAE/SILLUMINA "Nuove opere multimediali" 2017. Nel 2019 con il loro primo brano in italiano "Tu Non Ascolti Mai" vengono scelti tra i primi 60 artisti (unica band Rock) su 840 per Sanremo giovani. Nel 2020 pubblicano una versione davvero speciale e moderna del famosissimo brano di Modugno "Nel Blu Dipinto di Blu" che diventa la colonna sonora dell'iniziativa del MEI per intitolare il teatro Ariston di Sanremo a Modugno per il 70esimo anniversario del festival. Durante la settimana del festival, vengono premiati a Sanremo, sul palco del MEI 25. Il 15 Aprile 2020 esce il loro primo brano in italiano "Tu non ascolti mai" ed entra subito nella classifica degli artisti indipendenti italiani più trasmessi dalle radio per 8 settimane (arrivando fino alla posizione #20). Grazie ai buoni risultati ottenuti dalla prima canzone in italiano, i WakeUpCall iniziano a scrivere tantissimo nuovo materiale in italiano. Nel 2021 iniziano le registrazioni di undici nuove canzone, che andranno a comporre il loro primo album in italiano. Il lavoro viene mixato da Andrea Pachetti (Zen Circus, Emma Nolde, Ros...) al 360 Music Factory Studio. A Febbraio 2022 esce il primo dei nuovi brani "E allora balla". I primi di Maggio esce il singolo "Verso casa"...
