Biography

In 2001, the release of Yeah Yeah Yeahs' debut self-titled EP (sometimes referred to as Master) inspired a lot of buzz among indie-rock fans. First proper album Fever To Tell didn't arrive until 2003, but it was critically acclaimed and sold three-quarters of a million copies. Second album Show Your Bones was released in 2006. It was a Top Ten charter in the UK, missing out on that accolade in the US by one position. There were more warm reviews from the press, and the NME named Show Your Bones as the second best album of the year. In 2007 the Yeah Yeah Yeahs released another EP, Is Is, to tide their fans over until the third album arrives.
