Chester Charles Bennington (Phoenix, 20 marzo 1976 – Los Angeles, 20 luglio 2017) è stato un cantante statunitense, noto per essere stato il frontman del gruppo musicale Linkin Park. Bennington ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '90 con diverse band locali prima di unirsi ai Linkin Park nel 1999. Con il gruppo, ha raggiunto fama internazionale grazie all'album d'esordio "Hybrid Theory" (2000), che ha venduto oltre 30 milioni di copie in tutto il mondo. Bennington era noto per la sua potente voce e le sue performance energiche sul palco. Oltre ai Linkin Park, Bennington ha cantato anche con gli Stone Temple Pilots dal 2013 al 2015 e ha collaborato con altri artisti come Amy Lee di Evanescence. Nel 2009 ha fondato il progetto parallelo Dead by Sunrise. Bennington è morto suicida a Los Angeles all'età di 41 anni.
