Mirco Olivastri is a Roman singer-songwriter born in 1992. His passion for music and writing began in childhood, evolving from transcribing lyrics of his favorite songs to creating original pieces inspired by his life experiences. He approaches his complex past not with negativity but as an opportunity for growth and maturation. Influenced by his father (a former radio speaker) and his family's environment, owners of a live music venue in Rome, Mirco was exposed to the world of music by observing artists from different generations. Among his idols are Fabrizio Moro, Franco Battiato, i Nomadi, gli Stadio, and Lucio Battisti, influences that reflect in his introspective and intimate songwriting. He is self-taught on guitar and has honed his vocal skills to best express the emotions conveyed in his lyrics. In 2020, he released his first two official singles, "Il Profumo della Luna" (feat. Veronica) and "Check-In", which brought him attention from industry professionals and led him to participate in Casa Sanremo with the song "Fa' Qualcosa". In 2021, he presented "Il Cielo nientemeno", a dreamy and delicate song exploring the relationship between heaven and human feelings. That October, "Incenso e rosa" was released, an intense piece dedicated to the loss of a loved one and their constant presence in his soul. Mirco Olivastri stands out for his personal songwriting with a strong emotional impact and his distinctive voice, establishing himself as one of the most promising figures in contemporary Italian songwriting.
