The Dark Shines are an Italian rock band formed in Bergamo in 2004 by Ros (vocals and rhythm guitar) and Marce (lead guitar). The definitive lineup also includes Manu (drums) and Nick (bass). In December 2004, they released their first demo, *HAUNTING*, followed by several live performances in Bergamo and the surrounding area, including selections for Arezzo Wave 2005. After a break in 2005 due to Ros's move to London, the band reunited in January 2008 with new members and recorded their second demo, *BEYOND THE LIMITS*. This demo led to signing with the Florentine independent label Hurricane Shiva, with whom they co-produced their debut album, *LAST CHANCE*, released in July 2009. The album received good reviews from international press, but the closure of Hurricane Shiva in March 2010 interrupted the collaboration. In 2014, they recorded their second album, *NO TIME FOR REGRETS*, produced by Matteo DeNapoli. The promotional tour began in May 2015 after the digital release of the album in April and the presentation to the press at the Genoa International Music Fair on May 15, 2015.
