UDS Rock is an independent band from Turin, Italy, formed in 2016. Their pop-rock sound is characterized by contagious energy and lyrics that tell everyday stories with a touch of irony. Since 2017, the band has embarked on a unique journey: uniting music with the breathtaking landscapes of the Piedmont region. The videos for their singles are set in the towns of Langhe, Roero, and Monferrato, UNESCO-recognized areas known for their natural beauty and cultural heritage. The current lineup includes Luca "Last" Pintus (vocals), Fabio "Sberla" Manavella (keyboards), Nicola Marchitelli (guitars), Alessandro "Dandy" Bocchino (bass) and Marco "Pi-Groca" Roca (drums). In 2017, UDS Rock participated in major events such as the Tour Music Fest and the XXX edition of Sanremo Rock. Their collaboration with the municipality of Fontanile led to the creation of the video for "La corriera stravagante", a song that became a true "video jingle" for Monferrato. Subsequently, singles like "Può darsi mai", "Libera" and "Movimento" solidified their musical presence, with videos exploring the beauties of towns such as Canelli, Cocconato, Fontanile, Moncalvo, Montemagno, Portacomaro and Novello. In 2022, the "In Monferrato We Rock" project saw the participation of Dodi Battaglia, who contributed to promoting the territory with a rearranged version of "Chi fermerà la musica". UDS Rock continues to explore new sounds and collaborations, as evidenced by recent singles "Diluvio" and "Luna?", which blend rock and electronic music.
