Cassadee Pope is an American singer-songwriter known for her country pop style. Born in Florida in 1989, she began her musical career as a member of the pop-rock band Hey Monday, with whom she released two albums between 2007 and 2010. In 2012, Pope embarked on a solo career, signing with Big Machine Records. Her debut as a solo artist was the single "Wasting All These Tears", which reached number one on the Billboard Country Airplay chart in 2013.
