Lyrics A better nothing Lost prophets

 1.222

A better nothing

A dark place in the light of this city.
I know this feeling I keep buried inside,
won't retreat, or delete.
It ends tonight.
The dull pain that remains isn't pretty.
I'm being smothered in the flames I ignite.
„Oh my city is burning tonight."

Refrain:

So how's it gonna feal when I leave this town,
broke and burning, with the memories that we once found.
I'm out of time and I'm, I'm out of place.
I left a love I can't replace, to find home.
Yet everytime I'm left with nothing,
but nothing's all I need.
Another time, there's always something,
but never inside me.

My chest tightens.
It brightens the light of the stars,
revealing our scars, all the times that were ours.
On the run with nothing but an appetite for lust and seduction.
I won't start again with the feelings.
I know what I need and it's so unappealing.
I sink below, let me go.
I need to find my way back to what I know.

So how's it gonna feal when I leave this town,
broke and burning, with the memories that we once found.
So how's it gonna feal when I leave this town,
how's it gonna feel, how's it gonna feel, when I leave.
So how's it gonna feal when I leave this,
so how's it gonna feel?

To find, to find, to find, to find, find, home.
Yet everytime I'm left with nothing,
but nothing's all I need.
So how's it gonna feal when I leave this town,
how's it gonna feal when I leave this town,
how's it gonna feal when I leave this town,
how's it gonna feal, how's it gonna feel,
when I leave, (x8)
when I leave this town.

Biografia

Lostprophets were a Welsh rock band from Pontypridd, formed in 1997 by singer Ian Watkins and guitarist Lee Gaze. The group was founded after their former band Fleshbind broke up. They later recruited Mike Chiplin on drums, Mike Lewis as rhythm guitarist, Stu Richardson on bass guitar and Jamie Oliver on turntables and keyboards. Chiplin left the band in 2005, and was replaced by Ilan Rubin between 2006 and 2009, and Luke Johnson thereafter.
