Blood Red Throne è una band di death metal proveniente da Kristiansand, in Norvegia. Attiva dal 1998, il gruppo si distingue per un sound brutale e aggressivo, caratterizzato da riff pesanti, blast beat veloci e growl gutturali. Tra i membri più noti figura Tchort (Lars Nedland), chitarrista di fama internazionale grazie alla sua esperienza con Emperor, una delle band black metal più influenti della scena norvegese. Altri componenti chiave includono Dod (Daniel Olaisen), chitarrista anche del gruppo progressive metal Scariot, e il batterista Stian Thoresen. Blood Red Throne ha pubblicato sette album in studio, tra cui "Come Death" (2007) e "Bloodshed Symphony" (2013). Il loro stile musicale è influenzato da band come Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse e Slayer, ma mantiene una propria identità sonora caratterizzata da un'atmosfera cupa e oscura.
