Ihsahn, the stage name of Vegard Sverre Tveitan, is a Norwegian musician, singer-songwriter and composer born in 1974. Known for his work with the black metal band Emperor, Ihsahn embarked on a successful solo career in the 1990s, exploring genres such as avant-garde metal, ambient and electronic music. His music is characterized by a progressive and atmospheric sound, often with classical and experimental influences. Among his most important albums are "Erebos" (2006), "Angl" (2013) and "Telemark" (2018). Ihsahn is considered one of the pioneers of progressive black metal and has collaborated with artists such as Shining, Ulver and Leprous. Some of his most representative tracks include "The Sight Below", "In The Nightside Of Eden" and "Telemark".
