Antonio González Flores, known as Antonio Flores, was a Spanish singer-songwriter and actor born in Madrid on March 21, 1958. Son of two artists (his father was a flamenco singer and his mother a dancer), Flores began his musical career at the age of 16, performing in Spanish venues. In 1979 he released his first album, "El niño de la luna", which launched him to national success. Flores was a versatile artist, known for his powerful voice and songs that blended flamenco, pop, and rock. Among his most famous songs are "La chica del barrio", "No me digas que no" and "El amor es una cosa seria". In 1986 he starred in the film "Yo soy tu padre", achieving success also as an actor. Sadly, Flores died prematurely at the age of 30 on March 27, 1988 following a car accident. His music continues to be appreciated and remembered in Spain.
