Blake Babies

Lyrics Alright Blake Babies

 1.048

Alright

How is it on the inside? They say you can't see the sun.
Do they lock all the doors at night? Did they take away your farm?
Do they stare at you? Do they make you talk?
Do they watch you every hour?
Wish I could hold you up, but I don't have the power.
Will you really be alright?, Promise me you'll sleep tonight.
Get back up off the ground., Stop falling down.
They're slowly sucking from your bloodstream day by day.
Your eyes are tired and I don't like to look at you that way.
Bodies are walking back and forth. You can hear them moan.
Wish I could give you hope, but I can't do it alone.
Will you really be alright?, Promise me you'll sleep tonight.
Get back up off the ground., Stop falling down.
Will you really be alright?, Maybe you'll come home tonight.
Get yourself up off the ground., Stop falling down.

Thank you because you correct this lyrics

Biografia

The Blake Babies were an alternative rock band formed in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1986. The primary members were John Strohm, Freda Love (born Freda Boner) and Juliana Hatfield. Evan Dando, Andrew Mayer, Seth White, Anthony DeLuca (who played drums in place of Freda for the group's last European tour in early 1992) and Mike Leahy also performed as members of the band at various times during its history. Their music was characterized by catchy melodies, introspective lyrics and a pop-rock sound with indie influences. Among their most representative songs are "He Hit Me (And It Felt Like a Kiss)", "The Boy Who Loved the Moon" and "I'm Not Your Girl". The band released three studio albums: "Cloud of Blue" (1989), "Teenage Symphonies to God" (1990) and "A Little Bit of Everything" (1992). The Blake Babies contributed to defining the indie rock sound of the 1990s, influencing numerous subsequent bands.
