Triptykon is a Swiss black/doom metal band formed in 2008 by Tom Gabriel Fischer, former frontman of renowned bands such as Celtic Frost, Hellhammer and Apollyon Sun. The project represents a natural evolution of the dark and atmospheric sound that characterizes Fischer's discography, with influences drawn from classic doom metal and classical music. Triptykon stands out for its use of complex orchestral arrangements and deeply introspective lyrics that explore themes such as spirituality, death, and the meaning of existence.
