Grau in grau
Der Regen fllt
Pltzlich war das Laub verwelkt
Pltzlich war das Blut in dir gefrorn
Pltzlich war es herbst
Die Stille drckt
Die Erde schweigt
Auf dem weg nach unten zeigt
dir die Welt noch einmal ihr Gesicht
Was wirst du sehn
wenn das Licht erlischt
wenn der Wind der Zeit
deine Spur verwischt
Was bleibt von dir
Wer glaubst du steht an deinem Grab
Die Stille drckt
Die Erde schweigt
Auf dem weg nach unten zeigt
dir die Welt noch einmal ihr Gesicht
Was wirst du sehn
wenn das licht erlischt
wenn der Wind der Zeit
deine Spur verwischt
Wer ist bei dir
wenn deine Stunde schlgt
wenn sich die Ruhe
sanft um deine Schultern legt
Megaherz is a German industrial metal band formed in Munich in 1993. The name, a pun on the term "megahertz", evokes the idea of a powerful and pulsating heart. The group gained some notoriety in Germany thanks to their debut album *Wer Bist Du?* (1995), which includes the cult track "Gott sein". Megaherz is known for using lyrics often inspired by classic German fairy tales, such as "Rapunzel" from *Kopfschuss*, "Windkind" from *Himmelfahrt* and "I.M Rumpelstilzschen" from *Herzwerk II*. Some of the band's most representative tracks include also "Die Welt ist kalt", "Der Tanz der Toten" and "Schwarze Sonne".
