Cryptopsy è una band canadese di death metal tecnico proveniente da Montréal, Québec. Formatasi nel 1988, il gruppo ha venduto oltre 300.000 dischi. Considerati pionieri del genere, Cryptopsy sono noti per la loro velocità estrema, riff intricati e testi oscuri e grotteschi.
