Beneath The Massacre is a Canadian technical death metal band from Montreal, Quebec. Formed in 2005, they released their debut album, *Evidence of Inequity*, under Galy Records. In 2006, they signed with Prosthetic Records and released their first full-length album, *Mechanics of Dysfunction*, on February 20, 2007. The band has toured extensively, participating in notable events like the Brutalitour 2007 alongside Animosity, As Blood Runs Black, and The Faceless, as well as the Summer Slaughter Tour with Decapitated, Necrophagist, As Blood Runs Black, The Faceless, Ion Dissonance, and Cephalic Carnage. They also joined the Radio Rebellion Tour 2007 with Job for a Cowboy, Behemoth, and Gojira. Beneath The Massacre is known to occasionally incorporate influences from hardcore punk.
