Soledad Villamil (Buenos Aires, 1974) is an Argentine actress and singer. She began her theatrical career in the 1990s, participating in several off-Broadway productions. In 2003 she made her film debut with the movie "The Son of the Captain", followed by roles in films such as "The Holy Girl" (2004) and "XXY" (2007). In 2010, she gained international recognition for her portrayal of Elena in the television series "Tiempos de Gloria". Besides cinema, Villamil is also dedicated to music. She has released several albums, including "Soledad Villamil sings Piazzolla" (2013) and "Songs of the Soul" (2017). Her warm and melodious voice has allowed her to win a large audience in Argentina and beyond. Among her most popular songs are "The Tango of Two", "Angel's Milonga" and "Goodbye Nonino".
