Tethra is an Italian death/doom metal project born in 2008 from Belfagor, founder of the historic HORRID band. In 2009 Clode (vocals, Summoner, Apeiron, ex Coram Lethe and Gory Blister) joins the group, completing the lineup with Alex (ex Malus Vivendi and Self Disgrace) on bass and Mike (Sidhe, Madhour, Vexed) on drums. In 2010 their first mini-cd "At The Gates Of Doom" is released, produced in collaboration with Ossian (OPERA IX) and distributed by MASTERPIECE. The band immediately gains success from both the public and critics for its dark reinterpretation of doom and death metal sounds. Tethra participates in numerous live shows, supporting artists such as Sepultura, Sadist, Necrodeath and Saturnus. Since 2011 the band has been under management with Eagle Booking and is currently working on composing new songs for a full-length album.
