prétendait être, alors pourquoi rester figé devant pendant des lustres sans
aucune alternative ? Ces gardiens, qui sont ils ? Et quel lieu gardent-ils ?
Un vide se creusait au plus profond de lui. Harès se mit à prier :
[Harès :] Je me tourne vers toi mon créateur, si le mal coule dans mes veines,
s'il est l'essence de mon être, alors pourquoi, pourquoi suis-je là sur
cette terre ?!
N'est ce pas ton erreur ? toi mon créateur ! Tu fixes à chaque être, un
chemin à suivre, pour chemin je n'ai que ce mausolée de terre et d'eau. Si
je suis ton fils, alors conduis toi en père, fais le pour moi !
Tend moi une main de là où tu es, dans les cieux ou ici bas, perce d'un
rayon cet épais nuage qui se trouve autour de moi.
Les gens vont et viennent, vivent et meurent sans heurts. Je porte sur moi
le fardeau d'un lourd passé que je ne sais, est ce justice que d'être
cloîtré ici comme ça...
Sans pouvoir me racheter (le mal engendre le mal), sans être pardonné (le
mal engendre le mal), sans pouvoir pleurer (une tristesse sans fin), je veux
simplement vivre (on m'accusera de crimes).
Lac, toi mon guide, mon double ma copie, je suis en accord avec cette
nature. Etant homme, je raisonne, étant animal, je tue, pourquoi tout cela
dans un corps, pourquoi tout cela dans un même corps ?!

Fais de moi ce que tu veux, réduis moi à une bête ou au plus stupide des
hommes, mais fais le ! Père sépare moi d'un de ces sangs.
