Baby, come on

She's a pretty girl. She's always falling down.
And I think I just fell in love with her,
But she won't ever remember, remember.

And I can always find her at the bottom of a plastic cup.
Drowning in drunk sincerity.
A sad and lonely girl.

Quit crying your eyes out.
Quit crying your eyes out and, Baby come on.
Isn't there something familiar about me?
The past is only the future with the lights on.
Quit crying your eyes out, Baby.

And she said,
I think we're running out of alcohol. Tonight, I hate this fucking town.
And all my best friends will be the death of me,
But they won't ever remember, remember.

So please take me far away, before I melt into the ground.
And all my words get used against me.
This sad and lonely girl.

Quit crying your eyes out.
Quit crying your eyes out and, Baby come on.
Isn't there something familiar about me?
The past is only the future with the lights on.
Quit crying your eyes out, Baby.

Quit crying your eyes out.
Quit crying your eyes out and, Baby come on.
Isn't there something familiar about me?
The past is only the future with the lights on.
Quit crying your eyes out.
Isn't there something familiar about me?
Quit crying your eyes out.
The past is only the future with the lights on.
So quit crying your eyes out, Baby.

Biografia

Plus 44 is an American pop punk supergroup formed in 2005 by Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker, members of Blink-182. The band's name derives from the United Kingdom's international telephone dialing code (+44), as the project was initially discussed in London during the last European tour of blink-182. In addition to Hoppus and Barker, the lineup included Craig Fairbaugh (Transplants, Mercy Killers) and Shane Gallagher (The Nervous Return, Mercy Killers). Their debut album, *When Your Heart Stops Beating*, was released on November 14, 2006. The album received generally positive reviews, with many critics praising its energy and catchy melodies. The group embarked on a world tour in support of the album, but disbanded in 2007 due to individual commitments of the members. Some of the band's most representative songs include *When Your Heart Stops Beating*, *I Don't Want to Wait* and *The Reason*.
