Basic instinct

[Verse 1]

Yo, we got the basic instinct to keep the party live We got y’all niggas open, hit you with the party vibe I’m cruising like skating in Central Park up in Venice With a box portraying the menace I got the forty on my lap, my tape playing Boom Bap The nigga next to me talking about, “What up man, that shit not my style.” I said yo chill with that, we ain’t having no black-on-black I gave him a slap on the blackhand side, pulled out a fat sack Now we spark it live every day of the week Keep a nigga from getting tweaked up inside this piece I fall on niggas like a rain child When we’re wrecking up the scene we bring the pain loud

[Chorus]

And wow, Quasimoto rock and on on Quasimoto rock and on on Till the break of dawn, we rock on and on Till the break of dawn Quasimoto rock on and on till the break of dawn

[Verse 2]

Yo, we got the basic instinct to keep the party live We got y’all niggas open, hit you with the partyvibe It goes yes yes y’all, to the beat y’all We will leak all out the streets y’all Do your auditory raw, never take a fall Just call on all Quas, you know we’ll always keep it raw Like my nigga Madlib, we manifested from the west No one protest, I keep myself free from stress Plus I drop in sight like Mike (?) I keep my cherry on top but that’s a Blackberry

[Chorus]

But anyway, Quasimoto rock and on on Quasimoto rock and on on Till the break of dawn, we rock on and on Till the break of dawn Quasimoto rock on and on till the break of dawn

Thank you because you correct this lyrics

Biografia

Quasimoto is the alter ego of hip hop producer Madlib, hailing from Oxnard, California. The musical project stands out for Quasimoto's high-pitched voice, similar to that achieved by inhaling helium. Another distinctive element is the constant vocal exchange between Quasimoto and Madlib. In a studio session, Madlib decided to rap over his own beats but didn't like the sound of his voice (his friends in Oxnard call him 'Barry White' for his deep voice). He then decided to slow down the recorder, rap slowly, and then speed up the recording again to achieve Quasimoto's characteristic high-pitched voice. The project was launched with the 2000 album "The Unseen", followed by other works such as "A Wise Guy" (2001) and "The Further Adventures of Lord Quas" (2007). Among the most representative tracks are "Rappcats", "The World Is Yours" and "Walkin' On The Moon".
